What is Gut & Grace?


Gut & Grace is a digital resource store for people managing ulcerative 
colitis. We provide tracking tools, meal plans, wellness guides, and 
community support to help you manage UC with confidence.



Who is Gut & Gracee for?


Gut & Grace is for anyone managing ulcerative colitis, whether you're:
- Newly diagnosed and overwhelmed
- Years into your UC journey and need better systems
- Looking for UC-specific resources (not generic IBD content)
- Wanting to join a supportive community



Are you doctors or medical professionals?


No. We are a team of UC patients, registered dietitians with IBD 
specialization, and wellness coaches trained in chronic illness 
management.


We provide tools for self-management, not medical advice.


Always consult your gastroenterologist before making changes to your 
treatment plan.



Can these products cure my UC?


No. There is no cure for ulcerative colitis.


Our products are management tools designed to help you:
- Track symptoms and identify triggers
- Communicate better with your medical team
- Make informed decisions about your diet and lifestyle
- Feel more in control of your condition


They complement medical care — they don't replace it.

What type of products do you sell?


We currently sell digital downloadable products only, including:

How do I access my purchase?


Immediately after checkout, you'll receive:


1. Order confirmation email with your receipt
2. Download link email with access to your products


You can download your files anytime by:
- Clicking the link in your email
- Logging into your Gut & Grace account → "My Downloads"


Tip: Save your downloads to cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, 
iCloud) for easy access across devices.



What format are the digital products?


All products are delivered as PDF files, which you can:
- View on any device (phone, tablet, computer)
- Print at home or at a print shop
- Save to cloud storage
- Use digitally or on paper (your choice!)


Some trackers and journals are designed to be printed, but you can also 
use them digitally with apps like GoodNotes or Notability.



Can I print the digital products?


Yes! All our products are designed to be printer-friendly.


Recommended:
- Print trackers and journals for daily use
- Keep meal plans and guides digital for easy reference
- Print recipes as needed


Printing tips:
- Use a local print shop for best quality
- Most products print well in black & white to save ink
- Consider spiral binding for journals/trackers



Do you offer physical copies?


Not currently. All products are digital downloads only.


This keeps costs low and delivery instant — no shipping delays or fees!



Can I share my downloads with others?


No. Your purchase is for personal use only.


Sharing, reselling, or distributing our products violates our Terms of 
Service and copyright law.


If you know someone who would benefit, please direct them to 
gutgrace.com to purchase their own copy.


Exception: You may share relevant pages with your doctor, nutritionist, 
or medical team for treatment purposes.



What if I lose my download link?


No problem! You can:


1. Check your email — Search for "Gut & Grace" or "order confirmation"
2. Log into your account → Go to "My Downloads"
3. Contact us — Email support@gutgrace.com with your order number


We'll resend your link within 24 hours.



Can I access my products on multiple devices?


Yes! Once downloaded, you can:
- Save to cloud storage and access from any device
- Email yourself the files
- Transfer via USB or AirDrop
- Print physical copies


Your purchase includes lifetime access to download the current version.

What payment methods do you accept?


We accept all major payment methods through Shopify, including:

All payments are processed securely through Shopify's encrypted checkout.



Is my payment information secure?


Yes. We use Shopify's PCI-compliant payment processing.


We never see or store your credit card information. All transactions 
are encrypted and secure.



Will I be charged any additional fees?


No hidden fees! The price you see at checkout is the final price.

What's NOT included:
- Shipping (we're digital only!)
- Taxes (may apply depending on your location)



Can I use HSA/FSA funds?


Possibly! Some HSA/FSA providers allow purchases of health management 
tools.


Check with your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm eligibility. We provide 
detailed receipts for reimbursement if needed.



Do you offer discounts or promotions?


Yes! We occasionally offer:

REFUNDS & RETURNS



Can I get a refund?


Due to the digital nature of our products, we cannot offer refunds.


Once you've accessed/downloaded a digital product, we cannot "take it 
back" like a physical item.


However:
- If you experience technical issues accessing your download, contact 
  us immediately and we'll resolve it
- If a file is corrupted or won't open, we'll replace it right away
- If you have questions about using the product, our support team will 
  help


We stand behind our products. If there's a legitimate issue, we'll make 
it right.



What if the product doesn't work for me?


We understand that not every resource is the right fit for every person.


Before purchasing, we recommend:
- Read product descriptions carefully
- Review the preview images to see what's included
- Check out our blog for free content to get a feel for our approach
- Join our community to ask members about their experiences


If you're unsure, start with a single product rather than the bundle.



What if I bought the wrong product?


Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges or refunds on digital products.


To avoid this:
- Review product details before purchase
- Start with smaller products before committing to bundles
- Email us with questions BEFORE buying if you're unsure



What if the file won't download?


Contact us immediately at support@gutgrace.com with:
- Your order number
- The specific issue you're experiencing
- Screenshots if applicable


We'll troubleshoot and resolve within 24 hours (usually much faster).


 


USING THE PRODUCTS



I've never tracked UC symptoms before. Where do I start?


Start simple! Here's our recommendation:


Week 1: Track just 3 things daily
- Number of bowel movements
- Pain level (0-10)
- Energy level (0-10)


Week 2: Add food tracking
- What you ate for each meal
- Any reactions


Week 3+: Add more detail as it becomes routine
- Stress levels
- Sleep quality
- Medication adherence


The Daily Symptom Tracker guides you through this process with prompts 
and spaces for all these metrics.



How do I use the meal plan if I have specific triggers?


Our 28-Day UC Meal Plan is designed to be customized!


Here's how:
1. Start with the plan as written for 3-5 days
2. Note any reactions in your tracker
3. Swap out trigger foods with safe alternatives
4. Build your personalized version over time


The plan includes substitution suggestions and is organized by UC phase 
(flare-up vs. remission).



Can I use these products alongside my medication?


Absolutely! Our products are designed to complement medical treatment, 
not replace it.


Best practice:
- Track your medication adherence in the symptom tracker
- Share your tracking data with your GI doctor
- Note any correlations between meds and symptoms
- Use meal plans to support (not replace) your treatment plan


Never change your medication without consulting your doctor.



Do I need all the products or can I start with one?

Do you share my information?


Never. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with 
third parties.

Can I unsubscribe from emails?

Is my health information tracked?


No. We don't have access to the health data you enter in our trackers.


Our products are downloadable PDFs that you use privately. We never see:
- Your symptoms
- Your food logs
- Your medical information


Your health data is yours alone.


 


TECHNICAL QUESTIONS



What devices can I use to access the products?


All our PDF products work on:
- Computers: Mac, Windows, Linux
- Tablets: iPad, Android tablets, Surface
- Phones: iPhone, Android
- E-readers: Kindle, Nook (check compatibility)


You can also print physical copies!



What if the PDF won't open?


Try these solutions:


1. Update your PDF reader
   • Download free Adobe Acrobat Reader
   • Or try a different PDF app


2. Try a different device
   • If your phone won't open it, try your computer


3. Re-download the file
   • The download may have been interrupted


4. Check file size
   • Make sure the download completed fully

Can I edit the PDF files?


Our PDFs are designed to be filled out digitally or printed and written 
on.


To edit digitally:
- Use Adobe Acrobat (paid version for advanced editing)
- Use Preview on Mac for basic annotations
- Use GoodNotes or Notability on iPad
- Use Xodo or PDF Expert on Android


To customize significantly:
- We recommend printing and writing by hand
- Or screenshot sections to import into your preferred note app
